Post 6.0.0.8 Released, Live update available
We released 6.0.0.8 mid last week. It is available both in the core download and via live update.

This release primarily address 2 issues:
PHP depreciated functions
ASP quote character issue.

Note of caution to more advanced users who may want to simply copy the new qs_functions.php file to an old project.

Not a good idea. Compare your old with new before you do it. At least one of the Date functions in the new file will create problems. Line 281 should be changed so dates parse correctly.

$temp = preg_split('[- ]', $sdate);

SJHOULD Be (thanks rgfobie!)

$temp = preg_split('[-]', $sdate);

My system says Live Update not working "could not connect ot server or no update found on server". I'm running 6.0.0.6

Any thoughts on how to update?

I was glad to read that 6.0.0.9 would address the problem with deprecated functions, wich I have problem with as my host server now run PHP 5.3. I uppgraded to 6.0.0.9, which went fine and then opened the project and generated the PHP-files. But I'm sorry to say that in the add and edit forms still use ereg_replace, which is deprecated, instead of preg_replace. This generate a lot of error messages in these forms.

Is this something that also will be fixed?

I am at my wits end on the fact that i hear reports every week that our support pages are "not working". it is driving me batty. I am evaluating a 3rd party hosted support solution. please bear with us and expect changes soon
