I'm having serious problems understanding how this product could have been released in it's current state.

I wish management would respond to your question before all of it's potential loyal supporters give up on the product.

I needed the product to work with MS SQL and I have not been able to get a single successful compile.

I think we deserve an answer concerning fixes.

dbQS was, don't know if still is, a product made in Bangkok Thailand. For those of you that are not watching the world news, Bangkok is in the mids of a political turmoil. Maybe that is why there have not been any updates forthcoming.

I have been using and writing software for over a decade. I have never seen a product with a forum to have so little activity on the forum.

I wonder what the user base is for dbqs. It seems to only have a handful of users. Either that or the users are really disinterested in communicating.

Anyone have any facts on this matter?

CodeCharge has been around for a while. I know its CEO. It is a great but complicated product used by some of the worlds major banks, yet its forum does not reflect that.

Ditto for eWorld Technology Limited.

Xlinesoft (ASPRunnerPro/phpRunner) has about the most frequented forum I have seen.

The bottom line is that a product user base is not reflected in its forum user base.

Please, Please, Please will anyone tell me if they have been able to get Version 6 to work with Classic ASP and a MS SQL server database.

If you have, please explain your complete configuration and what you may have done special to get it to work.

Thanks in advance!!!

Yes, that is what I use most frequently. However there are some issues with MS_SQL_Server_2008. These are not due to classic ASP but rather to discontinued Microsoft Server_2008 support of classic ASP. The 2008 markes MS shift to ASP.NET and PHP.

Try updating to 6.0.0.8 via live update.
We are working on fixes all the time. Check Live update when you can. Please please report bug using the ticketing system. These are tough times for everyone, and we do not have support staff to sift through all the forum topics looking for support issues. The forum is a place to help each other but if you want help from us, you need to raise a support ticket.

@Gerald Please note that:
Ticketing system of dbQwikSite does NOT work.
After submitting the issue confirmation never comes but Chrome error:

Quote:
The webpage at http://www.dbqwiksite.com/KnowledgeBase/index.html has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer.

I struggled with that form, and even when once I managed to get through reply never came.

All support ticketing should be working. Give me a shout if not.
