Post Syntax for launching/calling a form from an event
Can someone please give me an example of the correct Javascript syntax to call/launch an html page (or a PHP file) from a custom code event such as On got focus? Can this be done and if so how?

There are a number of options. It depends on what you are trying to do and what you want to happen to the current page.

There is a JS redirect that redirect the current browser window to a new URL (lose your current page)
You would include this in any insert point in the HTML HEAD section and call it from any JS event passing the URL that you want to go to eg NavTo(http://www.google.com);
<SCRIPT language="JavaScript">
function NavTo(NavToURL)
{
window.location = NavToURL;
}
</SCRIPT>

To open a new window...
<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="javascript">
<!--
window.open ('page.html')
-->
</SCRIPT>
